Pupil Premium Grant 2016-2017
We receive a pupil premium grant for each pupil entitled to receive Free School Meals or who has been entitled over the last six years and also for any looked after or adopted children. £1300 is awarded to school for every pupil on the Pupil Premium register. This is higher for Children Looked After or for pupils who have been adopted from care. Children whose parents are in the services are awarded a lower grant.
Our grant for 2016-2017 was £14 200.
At Grasby All Saints Church of England Primary School, the funding is being used to successfully personalise learning and support individual progress. We have also purchased specific learning resources.
In 2016, there were no pupils that received pupil premium funding who took the Year 6 SATs. In 2015 attainment and progress for these pupils was at expected levels or better. This information is reported separately. We track the progress of all children regularly and we have an appointed a Pupil Premium Governor to act as advocate for the needs of pupils who benefit from the pupil premium funding.
Financial support for school trips, extra curricular activities, sporting and music tuition is made possible through this funding. We would like to assure parents that all matters regarding the use of this special fund are treated with discretion and in confidence.
